Intro
The client had a laboratory project to supply in their region. They came with the specification and the floor plan: lab furniture and cleanroom doors, room by room, to be made in China and delivered as one shipment.
They understood that an order like this is not a matter of clicking through a marketplace. It takes finding a manufacturer who actually works with laboratories, understanding the details and specifics, and running the deal through production to export. That part is definitely not easy to manage well from another continent. And that is what was handed to me.

Outcome
One manufacturer, specialising in laboratory furniture, covered the full order. The cleanroom doors they arranged through their partners, openly and within the same order — one deal to manage instead of two supply chains to align. Before the balance payment I visited the factory for a final sign-off: the workshop, the goods, the packing. The words matched the reality. The full fit-out — benches, fixtures, and 29 cleanroom doors — was loaded into one 40 ft HQ container and shipped from China. The client received the contract, the commercial invoice from SinaFirst as the seller of record, the packing list, and the bill of lading issued according to their instructions.

FAQ
Mostly confirmations. The furniture was made to the floor plan, so every position went through checks and approvals: dimensions against the plan, worktop and structure materials, sink and socket configurations, door types and sizes. Questions came up along the way — from the factory and from the client’s side — and each one had to be clarified and closed before production moved on. None of it is dramatic. It is the routine that keeps a made-to-order deal matching the specification.
A factory visit is not a magic guarantee. It is one of several checks, each with its own cost and its own blind spots — so it goes where the risk is, not everywhere by default. Before the prepayment, the supplier had passed my own filters and checks — the ones that work at that stage. No serious red flags were found, and I reported that to the client. The contract was signed between the supplier and my mainland company, Shenzhen SinaFirst Technology Co., Ltd, with stamp and signature, and the deposit followed.
The balance is a different point. By then the goods physically exist, the remaining payment is the larger part of the money, and after loading nothing can be corrected at the factory. A visit answers questions there that no document can — so that is where I went. Nothing needed correcting, which is exactly what the visit was for.
