Security cameras, office equipment and mixed goods

I need China agent who help me with our supplier and source other items also, then collect all the goods in one container, and issue one invoice as a seller.

12 suppliers, one container, one invoice in USD.
Client location: West Africa
Logistics mode: FCL, 20 ft GP
Service format: Basic + End-to-end

Intro

The client was a large company purchasing products in China. They had already found one supplier and agreed the order, but there were some questions around payment and export. Their supplier was also selling under EXW terms, while the goods still needed to be officially exported from China.
At the same time, the client needed to source and purchase other items, then consolidate all orders and ship in one container. But they had no office or purchasing manager in China to handle all of this locally. So my job was to take over the China side and manage the entire process end to end.

Product range

  • Security equipment

    CCTV cameras, uninterruptible power supplies.
  • Office equipment

    printers, laser toner cartridges.
  • Furniture and supplies

adult bed, interior lights, sanitary ware, curtain tracks, switches.
  • Machine parts and materials

vehicle tires, pump and spindle for a CNC machine, micro-cement.

Service scope

  • Manage the existing supplier and handle the order end to end
  • Source suppliers for the other items
  • Place confirmed orders and manage payments
  • Consolidate goods and manage warehousing
  • Book sea freight and handle container loading
  • Assist the existing supplier with the official export declaration
  • Arrange and manage export processing

Outcome

I handled the payment to the client’s original supplier, sourced and purchased the other items, and collected all the orders at the warehouse in Guangzhou.
From there, I prepared the goods for export as one shipment, arranged sea freight, assisted the client’s original supplier with official export under a separate customs declaration, and loaded all the goods into one 20 ft container. 12 suppliers in total.
For the client, all the goods were brought together under one seller of record. I issued one commercial invoice in USD covering all purchases and provided the bill of lading for the shipment.
Sealed 20 ft container ready for dispatch to Nansha port — shipped to West Africa in September 2024.
Bill of lading for a 20 ft container from Nansha to West Africa — 359 cartons from 12 suppliers, shipper SinaFirst Limited.
Carrier seal fixed on the container doors after loading — the consolidated shipment sealed for export from China.

Field notes

Why is my Chinese supplier asking for a freight forwarder after I already paid them?
Nothing is wrong with your order: an official payment needs an official export, and the supplier assumes your side is handling it.
