Branded promo items for an optical chain.

Project location: West Africa
Logistics mode: AWB
Service scope: End-to-end Agent in China

The owner of an optical salon chain engaged us to arrange the purchase and branding of promotional items — including sourcing suitable suppliers, managing logo printing, and delivering all goods on time — with full, end-to-end management of all China-side processes.
The client provided print-ready logo files and references. Based on the client’s clear brief, we sourced several suppliers in China with different product ranges, reviewed and compared samples with the client, and selected the most suitable items: desk calendars, gift pens with cases, desk mouse pads, notebooks, and shopping bags.
Upon the client’s final confirmation, we placed orders with the selected suppliers, coordinated domestic logistics across China, and consolidated the entire order at our warehouse.
Given the tight deadline and the relatively small total volume of goods, sea freight wasn’t an option. The client ultimately opted for air freight; we dispatched the consolidated shipment to West Africa and provided a copy of the AWB.

Outcome

  • One consolidated shipment; one invoice.
  • No multiple payments or extra bank routes — fewer complications.
  • AWB copy provided; consolidated cargo shipped by air to West Africa.

Key Takeaways

  • Consolidating multi-supplier orders into one shipment reduces admin and payment friction.
  • For small, time-sensitive orders, air freight is often the most efficient choice.
  • Single point of contact in China — no multi-supplier management on the client’s side.
