From web pictures to a shipment delivered from China

Building materials & tools, outdoor and solar LED lighting — sourcing, purchase and export.
Client location: South America
Logistics mode: FCL
Service scope: End-to-end Agent in China

The owner of the resort decided to refresh the open-air pavilion roofing and the surrounding area lighting. From the very beginning, he knew he wasn’t going to chase multiple suppliers in China or manage the whole process on his own.
Eventually, we received a clear request for a one-stop, end-to-end solution — supplier sourcing and vetting, product checks, goods consolidation, container loading, and export from China. One point of contact and one invoice covering all purchases.
At the same time, the client shared a complete sourcing list with examples and planned quantities.
Tasks and instructions were crystal clear.

Purchase List:

  • Artificial thatch
  • Installation tools and accessories
  • SBS waterproof coil
  • Outdoor lights
  • Solar street LED lights

Service Delivery:

1. Sourcing, vetting and selection

We did a brief search, compared offers, and shortlisted vetted suppliers and manufacturers in China for each item. The client selected models and colors, confirmed the orders, and also shared must-check notes.

2. Checks, purchase and consolidation

For a few specified items, we arranged samples and did the checks the client requested. After final confirmations, we placed the orders and consolidated all goods at our warehouse in China.

3. Dedicated support

The client was unsure how to install the roof correctly and asked for our assistance. We explained the project specifics to the thatch manufacturer, who then provided clear step-by-step instructions. As a result, the client had a complete, practical guide for on-site work.

4. Container booking, loading and export

Once all supplier shipments were ready, we booked and loaded 1×20 ft container, handled China export customs clearance, and shipped the goods to the destination port. At the end of the day, we provided the BL and a complete, correct import document pack, so the client cleared customs smoothly.

Results:

— All purchases matched the sourcing list, and the requested checks were completed as instructed.
— The shipment left on schedule under FCL.
— The client cleared the container on arrival without issues.

Outcome:

  • One invoice covering all purchases — no multi-seller payments in China.
  • One point of contact in China — live updates, timely approvals, clean execution.
  • Dedicated Agent in China support — the client got exactly what was needed.
This case is another solid example of FCL from China. It also gives an inside look at what we do and how we work as an Agent in China in practice.
